Nottingham Forest have signed Italy international Lorenzo Lucca on loan from Napoli until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent.
The club said in a statement that Global Head of Football Edu Gaspar welcomed the striker, saying he adds specific qualities, brings top-level experience from different countries and still has room to develop, and that everyone is eager to see his impact this season.
The six ft seven in forward arrives as Forest sought cover up front, with Chris Wood managing injuries and Arnaud Kaliumendo allowed to join Eintracht Frankfurt on loan.
Lucca top scored for Udinese in 2024-25 with 14 Serie A goals. At Napoli this term he has one goal in 16 league appearances, having started only four times under Antonio Conte.
He will wear the No.20 shirt at the City Ground.
