Nuno Tavares is drawing interest from three clubs, putting his Lazio future in doubt. According to The Laziali, the club have set a price as attention grows from Italy and abroad.
The 26-year-old has had mixed fortunes since arriving in summer 2024. A testing spell under Maurizio Sarri is said to have sharpened his defensive work, and Gennaro Gattuso is keen to reunite with his former Olympique Marseille player.
Besiktas have tracked the left-back in Türkiye, with interest strengthened by Vincenzo Italiano’s appointment. The report adds that a move to Istanbul has not truly enticed the Lisbon-born defender.
Porto could appeal more, offering a first return to Portugal since he left Benfica in 2021, and coach Francesco Farioli is viewed as an admirer. Fiorentina are also credited with interest, though Lazio would prefer to sell abroad.
While Claudio Lotito’s stance points to a higher valuation, the report suggests 20 million could prove sufficient. Arsenal, Tavares’s former club, would receive around 7 million via a 35 percent sell-on clause.
If he departs, Gattuso would still have left-backs Luca Pellegrini and Alfonso Pedraza available, with the latter set to complete a free transfer from Villarreal in the coming days.
