Competitive season starts on Saturday v FC Sohm Alberschwende

Our women's team are ready for competitive active! Dusan Pavlovic's team are ready to make history in the ÖFB Women's Cup in Vorarlberg on Saturday, 9 August, where FC Sohm Alberschwende are to host the first-round tie at 18:00. The home team are a real presence in West Austrian football, as reigning champions in the Vorarlberg League – the third tier – and, after a dramatic final against their league rivals from Leiblachtal, also the current title holders in the VFV Women's Cup after winning a penalty shoot-out 7-6. Our team were unable to win any of their pre-season friendly matches, and will be looking to make up for it in this knockout encounter. Unfortunately, the match will not be broadcast, but we will of course provide a match report on the events at the Alberschwende Sportplatz.
