MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf U-17 Qualifiers continued with ten Group Stage matches across Groups A, B, C, D and E on Thursday.

Group A

Sint Maarten 0-10 Mexico

Mexico began its campaign with a statement 10-nil win over Sint Maarten in Group A at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

Adán Sanchez kicked things off with a hat trick over a 10-minute span, placing Mexico up 3-nil early. El Tri scored in waves in the second half as four different players found the back of the net, including a hat trick from Alberto Cisneros. Luis Trujillo also played a big role with a brace as Mexico.

El Tri is now unbeaten in 33 matches against Caribbean opposition in the history of the tournament, and currently on 14-match win streak against those foes in any phase.

Trinidad and Tobago 1-0 Saint Martin

Trinidad and Tobago earned a 1-nil win over Saint Martin in Group A at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

The breakthrough moment came in the 73’, when Adasa Richardson put away a penalty kick for the winner.

Group B

Panama 6-1 Dominica

Panama started its tournament with a 6-1 victory over Dominica in Group B at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama.

The home side was anchored by a hat trick from Thiago Chalmers, who scored twice in the first half and buried a penalty kick in the 90’+5’ for his third. 

Dominica’s lone goal was a converted penalty by Carlique Prevost in the 31’, but Panama powered on and scored a pair of goals after to make it 4-1 at the break. 

Panama had four different scorers contribute, including Arián Reyes’ goal off the bench with a header in the 84’.

Nicaragua 3-0 Anguilla 

Nicaragua blanked Anguilla 3-nil in Group B at Estadio Rommel Fernández in Panama City, Panama.

Nefstali Campos got the opening goal in the 12’ as his left-footed blast from outside the area skipped past keeper. 

Sander Peralta followed it up a minute later by pouncing on a rebound and finding the back of the net.

Peralta put the exclamation point on the win with a header in the 72’ to notch his brace.

Group C 

Haiti 5-1 Grenada 

Haiti earned a 5-1 win over Grenada in the Group C opener at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Marvenly Exilas stood out for Haiti as he scored twice in an 11-minute span in the first half and then smashed a shot in the 65’ to complete his hat trick. 

Emerson Laïssé opened the scoring for Haiti in the 10’, and Macerate Prophète notched a header in the 90’+1’ to round out the scorers for Haiti.

Grenada’s lone goal was a long blast from Cogan Dowden in the 25’.

Guatemala 2-0 Antigua and Barbuda

Guatemala earned a 2-nil win over Antigua and Barbuda in Group C at Estadio Cementos Progreso in Guatemala City, Guatemala.

After a scoreless first half, the home side got on the board in the 47’ when Patrick Arana unleashed a vicious blast from outside the box.

Guatemala doubled its lead soon after as Jeffery Interiano found the back of the net in the 52’ with a shot from within the box. 

Group D

Puerto Rico 12-0 British Virgin Islands

Puerto Rico opened its tournament with a dominant 12-nil win over the British Virgin Islands in Group D at FCRF Field #2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

Diego Echevarria led the way with a hat trick, accompanied with a brace from Dacian Delgado, in the first ten minutes of the match. Lucas Hernández also contributed with a pair of goals himself in the 59’ and 60’. 

Puerto Rico had eight different scorers in the shutout and netted six goals in each half.

Costa Rica 9-0 Turks and Caicos 

Costa Rica rolled to a 9-nil victory over Turks and Caicos in Group D at FCRF Field #2 in Alajuela, Costa Rica.

The home side started off strong by scoring six goals in the first half, led by brace from Santiago Quirós with goals in the 4’ and 7’.

Ethan Barley also tallied a first-half brace with his strikes coming just nine minutes apart in the 30’ and 39’.

Akenai Samuels contributed with a pair of goals himself, netting one in each half as part of the offensive onslaught. 

Six different scorers got on the board for Costa Rica, who dominated with 78% possession and 50 total shots (26 on target).

Group E

Dominican Republic 5-0 Saint Kitts and Nevis 

The Dominican Republic cruised to a 5-nil victory over Saint Kitts and Nevis in Group E at Arnos Vale Sporting Complex in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

Kamil Castillo opened the scoring in the 14’ as he got at the end of a cross and finished it off.

The Dominican Republic doubled its lead in the 45+2’ when Luis Almonte rose up for a header off a corner kick. 

Justin Gómez unleashed one from the middle of the box to find the back of the net in the 68’.

Los Quisqueyanos put the finishing touches on the win with a pair of goals in stoppage time, one from Miguel Muñoz at the 90’+2’ and in the 90’+7’ by Alejandro López.

The United States took an 8-nil win over Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in Group E at Arnos Vale Sporting Complex in Kingstown, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Aaron Medina led the way with a first half hat trick, scoring in the 6’, 28’ and 37’.

Up by four at the break thanks to Medina’s efforts and a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines own goal, the U.S. powered through a dominant second half with two braces. Paul Sokoloff and Malik Jakupovic combined for the four goals to put a stamp on the win.
