Transfer activity is currently in full swing at FC Bayern. While the signings of Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari are drawing closer, the next deal on the outgoing side could be in the works. Jonah Kusi-Asare is apparently on the verge of a permanent move to Fulham FC.
The Munich club is currently working intensively to rebuild its squad for the upcoming season. In addition to the planned new signings, transfer proceeds are also playing an important role.
Another sale could soon become a reality.
As Sky reporter Kerry Hau reports, Fulham FC wants to sign Jonah Kusi-Asare, who is currently on loan, on a permanent basis. The Premier League club is reportedly preparing an offer for the 18-year-old forward.
Kusi-Asare moved to Munich from Swedish soccer in the summer of 2024 for around 3.5 million euros and was considered one of the most exciting striker prospects of his age group.
However, he initially failed to make a breakthrough at FC Bayern. As a result, club officials decided to send him on loan to England in the summer of 2025.
At the time, Fulham secured the striker’s services for a loan fee of around four million euros.
On the field, the loan started off with mixed results. In the Premier League and in the national cup competitions, Kusi-Asare made only ten appearances and received relatively little playing time overall.
Toward the end of the season, however, the forward managed to turn heads. Internally, Fulham is said to have been convinced by his development and potential. That is precisely why the London club now wants to sign the Swede on a permanent basis.

Interestingly, according to Sky, the purchase option agreed upon in the loan contract is not expected to be activated. This option is set at a sum of just over ten million euros. Instead, Fulham apparently plans to renegotiate with Bayern and submit a lower offer.
It remains to be seen whether Munich would agree to such a proposal.
From FC Bayern’s perspective, a sale could still make perfect sense. The club’s leadership, led by Max Eberl, faces the challenge of generating additional revenue. After all, two costly target signings—Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari—are imminent.
Together, both deals could cost well over 100 million euros. According to the report, Fulham is already preparing its offer. Consequently, there could be movement on this matter in the coming days.
For Kusi-Asare, a permanent move to England would make perfect sense. After a year of settling in, he already knows the club, the league, and the environment inside and out.
