Two members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Thursday secured international call-ups on the part of France.
The pair in question? Kylian Mbappé, and Eduardo Camavinga.
Frontman Mbappé’s latest Les Bleus call of course comes as little surprise.
Since reestablishing himself in the plans of Didier Deschamps, the 26-year-old has been in nothing short of explosive form, fresh off taking his tally for the new season to 13 goals in nine appearances on Tuesday night.
Real Madrid teammate Camavinga, on the other hand, is fresh off his return to the pitch following a long-term spell on the sidelines.
The 22-year-old managed his first start since last season against Kairat this week, and capped his showing with a fine goal.
And as much evidently proved enough to convince Deschamps of Camavinga’s readiness to contribute in a pair of fixtures against Azerbaijan and Iceland over the next couple of weeks.
Fellow Blancos star Aurélien Tchouaméni, on the other hand, misses out through suspension.
