South African referee Abongile Tom has been appointed as the fourth official for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final between Morocco and Senegal on Sunday, 18 January.
The two teams will lock horns at Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium, with kickoff for the highly anticipated clash set for 21h00 ( 19h00 GMT).
Walid Regragui's men secured their place in the deciding match after ousting Nigeria via a penalty shootout in the semi-final.
On the other hand, Pape Thiaw guided his charges to a hard-fought 1-0 victory over record seven-time African champions Egypt in the previous round.
The Atlas Lions will be searching for their first continental title since 1976, and will be banking on their home supporters to get them over the line.
Meanwhile, the Lions of Terranga will be aiming to secure their second AFCON crown, having won their maiden title in 2022 under the tutelage of Aliou Cisse.
The Democratic Republic of Congo referee Jean Jacques Ndala has been entrusted with the whistle for the blockbuster encounter.
