Official: Augsburg's Koudossou joins Nürnberg on loan | OneFootball

FC Augsburg have confirmed that Henri Koudossou will represent the colours of 1.FC Nürnberg for the 2025/26 season.

Augsburg has agreed to a year-long loan deal with the 2.Bundesliga club for the full-back. There is no option to buy included.

Koudossou, who recently extended his contract until 2028, is expected to receive regular minutes at Nuremberg to help his development.

The 25-year-old has made 21 Bundesliga appearances and a pair of DFB-Pokal outings for the Red-Green-Whites to date.

“When the opportunity arose to bring Henri to the club, we absolutely wanted to take advantage of it.

"This signing not only further intensifies our competition in this position, but it also gives us additional flexibility, as Henri can play on both the right and left.

"With him, we're gaining an experienced player for our squad who will help us with his quality,” said Nürnberg sporting director Joti Chatzialexiou.
