After a convincing 3-0 victory over Brest in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, FC Barcelona return to La Liga action today as they face UD Las Palmas at Montjuic.
Although they got a victory in the UCL, the Blaugranes have been unable to win their last two games in the league, as they fell to a defeat to Real Sociedad before the November international break and then had to settle for a draw against Celta Vigo after the break.
Thus, Hansi Flick will be particularly keen to get a victory in this game, especially as Barcelona now have only a 4-point margin at the top of the league table, with Real Madrid having a game in hand.
Luckily, some previously unavailable players have returned for this game, which will make Flick’s task of securing a victory easier.
Barcelona have already announced the squad for this game, and as Flick had confirmed in his presser yesterday, Lamine Yamal is a part of this list. Similarly, Ferran Torres has also returned from his injury, and these two recoveries will provide a significant offensive boost for the German coach.
Hansi Flick has also called up some players from the youth ranks for this game, with Guille Fernández being the most prominent among them.
The full squad announced by Barcelona for this game is as follows:
Goalkeepers:
Defenders:
Midfielders:
Forwards:
Injured:
