The prize in question? La Liga’s Manager of the Month.

German tactician Flick for his part led Barcelona into action on the league front on a trio of occasions across the month of March.

And on all three, the Blaugrana emerged on the right side of the result.

A hard-fought 1-0 victory at Athletic Club was followed by a dominant 5-2 downing of Sevilla at the Spotify Camp Nou.

This past weekend, a solitary Ronald Araújo goal then proved enough to guide Barca past a game Rayo Vallecano outfit.

Such exploits ensured that the reigning Spanish champions maintained their four-point advantage atop the table.

And as alluded to above, on Monday, Flick’s efforts on the touchline were deservedly recognised.

As per a statement across La Liga’s social media platforms, the former Bayern Munich boss has been named La Liga Manager of the Month for March.
