Members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid have on Thursday been named in France’s latest starting XI on the international front.
From the former, Jules Koundé, despite his less-than-impressive recent form at club level, has been given the nod at right-back.
And joining Koundé in Didier Deschamps’ line-up for the evening is Real Madrid frontman Kylian Mbappé.
In the midst of a scintillating campaign in front of goal to date, Mbappé has actually been held goalless in each of his last two appearances in Blancos colours.
Club teammate Eduardo Camavinga, meanwhile, has been left out of France’s matchday setup entirely, amid ongoing fitness problems.

Les Bleus head into the fixture sitting top of the Group D table, with 10 points secured from an available 12 to date.
