FC Barcelona are set to take on Las Palmas at the Montjuic Stadium for their next La Liga encounter. The Catalan giants are hoping to get all three points after having just celebrated the club’s 125th anniversary. In front of their home fans, Barcelona will definitely want to get a crucial win after their last win against Brest in the Champions League.

With Real Madrid closing in, moreover, La Blaugrana simply cannot afford to slip up anymore. Hansi Flick is aware of this fact, and he will thus look to make sure that the team responds in the best possible way. That is why he has decided to field a strong eleven for this game as well.

In goal, unsurprisingly, Inaki Pena starts as the primary shot-stopper for Barcelona. His performances have been impressive this season and it makes sense why Hansi Flick continues to rely on him in the absence of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

Ahead of him, the usual partnership of Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez starts as the most reliable pairing that Hansi Flick currently has at his disposal. While it is true that Ronald Araujo is nearing a return as well, this duo remains a strong one for the German coach.

On either flank, Alejandro Balde and Jules Kounde will be starting this game as well. The combination of strength and speed that they provide will surely be something that Barcelona could look to make use of.

With Marc Casado suspended, however, the midfield in front of them had to be changed. Gavi starts alongside Pedri, as it would appear that Frenkie de Jong is still not at full fitness. Fortunately for Barcelona, even Gavi’s quality is undeniable.

In front of those two, Raphinha and Fermin Lopez start alongside Pablo Torre. This trio may work well in this outing, but it remains to be seen if they can reproduce positive results as Hansi Flick would want them to.

Up top, Robert Lewandowski remains the starting centre-forward for Barça and his presence could be crucial for the team. He has been in fine goalscoring form so far this season, and the Polish ace will be looking to add even more goals to his tally in this game.
