AC Milan head coach Sergio Conceicao has named his starting line-up for the game against Como, and there are changes from the side that drew with Cagliari.
Milan have to put things right against Como tonight after dropping points against a Cagliari side who sit inside the relegation places, leaving Conceicao frustrated in particular with the tempo that his side played at.
Cesc Fabregas’ Como are also struggling after returning to the top flight following a 21-year hiatus as they sit just one point above the drop zone, though they have spent €30m this January already.
It was already known that Alessandro Florenzi, Samuel Chukwueze and Ruben Loftus-Cheek would be out due to injury, while Noah Okafor’s move to RB Leipzig has collapsed but he won’t be available either.
Conceicao has gone for what looks to be a 4-3-3 system on paper with Emerson Royal, Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez as the defensive line in front of Mike Maignan.
The midfield three are Ismael Bennacer, Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders, with Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leao flanking Alvaro Morata in attack.
The two changes from the Cagliari draw therefore include Emerson – who celebrates his 26th birthday today – coming in for Davide Calabria, then Bennacer for Yunus Musah.
