2. Bundesliga side Nürnberg added one more key signing before the start of their campaign as Andrea Ceresoli joined them from Atalanta U23. According to Transfermarkt, the transfer fee is €500k for the left-back.
Ceresoli signed a three-year contract at Nürnberg, although sources from Italy reported that Atalanta added a resale clause. Der Club will play their first 2. Bundesliga game on Sunday at home against Dynamo Dresden.

The 23-year-old played regularly on loan at Benevento Calcio last season as he helped them to a Serie B promotion. The defender played 18 times for Italy's youth national teams, but he hasn’t featured since his last appearance for the U17 in 2020.
