La Liga outfit Barcelona have on Wednesday unveiled the club’s squad list for their upcoming meeting with Real Betis.

And it features one altogether noteworthy absentee…

Barcelona are of course primed to return to action later this evening.

Fresh off putting arch rivals Real Madrid to the sword in the finale of the Spanish Super Cup over the weekend, Hansi Flick’s troops will turn attentions towards the Copa del Rey.

A home meeting with the aforementioned Real Betis lies in store, with a place in the competition’s quarter-finals up for grabs.

One player, however, who will play no part in Barcelona’s efforts towards as much comes in the form of Ansu Fati.

Wide-man Ansu was for his part left out of the Blaugrana’s squad for both of their fixtures during the Supercopa de España over the course of the last week.

And, despite being fully fit, the same has proven the case this afternoon.
