Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Ousmane Dembélé and Fabián Ruiz will not take any part in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League second-leg tie against AS Monaco.
PSG head into that game with a slender one-goal advantage, having beaten the Principality club 3-2 at the Stade Louis II last Tuesday. However, that win did come at a cost, with Dembélé being withdrawn within 30 minutes due to injury. He was replaced by Désiré Doué, who would ultimately prove to be the difference-maker.
Dembélé was not in training on Monday and unsurprisingly, he has not been included in the matchday squad. However, the club confirmed that he had started individual training. The same goes for Ruiz, who is still out with a knee injury, which has kept him sidelined since late January. Senny Mayulu and Quentin Ndjantou are also out for the reigning European champions.
