Diomande set to be one of the major topics of the summer window

Now that his sponsorship allegiances are set in stone, the 19-year-old can start mulling over his future, and whether that lies with Leipzig for another season or elsewhere.

Currently, Leipzig are doing their utmost to tie Diomande down to a new contract in recognition of his ‘outstanding’ performances. However, it’s thought they would feel obliged to sell him after only one season if a suitable offer arrived this summer.

Manchester United are firmly among the mix of the players’ suitors heading into the transfer window, although it remains to be seen how much they plan to shell out on an attacker after revamping the entire frontline last year – along with the fact that a midfield overhaul is the priority this time around.

How might United facilitate a move for Diomande?
