La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday announced the latest departure from the club’s playing ranks.

This comes amid confirmation that midfield starlet Chema Andrés has sealed a move to Germany, with Stuttgart.

The name of youngster Chema had emerged as a prominent one in the headlines in Spain’s capital across the week to date.

As much came after widspread reports were forthcoming, pointing towards an incoming Real Madrid exit for the 20-year-old.

Despite being held in high regard at Valdebebas, the path to first-team minutes is a tough one to navigate for players like Chema at present.

The midfielder therefore made the call to open talks over a potential move to the aforementioned Stuttgart.

And as alluded to above, on Sunday, such negotiations have officially borne fruit.

As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of Real Madrid:

‘Real Madrid CF and VfB Stuttgart have reached an agreement for the transfer of our player Chema Andrés.’

Chema has departed the Santiago Bernabéu on a permanent basis, for a fee understood to be in the region of €3 million.
