Official: Real Madrid name squad to face Atlético | OneFootball

The squad of players called upon by La Liga leaders Real Madrid for the club’s upcoming showdown with city rivals Atlético has been unveiled online.

The first Madrid Derby of the campaign is of course set to play out this weekend.

On Saturday evening, the aforementioned Real Madrid will make the trip to the Metropolitano, to lock horns with Diego Simeone’s Atlético.

Los Blancos head into the matchup sitting pretty atop the table, still boasting a perfect record of seven wins from seven across all competitions in 2025/26.

Xabi Alonso and co, in turn, will no doubt be eager to keep this run alive at the expense of their noisy neighbours in 24 hours’ time.

And as alluded to above, on Friday, the squad of players set to be tasked with precisely as much has been officially unveiled.
