Bayern Munich winger Bryan Zaragoza reported on switch of loan locales has been officially confirmed. After the termination of his Celta Vigo loan accord, the 24-year-old was officially unveiled as an AS Roma player on transfer deadline day. The Serie A outfit will serve as Zaragoza’s third loan location whilst under contract with the German record champions. 

Are Bayern Munich still hoping to offload Bryan Zaragoza?

Yes. As many had expected, Bayern negotiated an automatic purchase clause as part of the new loan agreement. Sport Bild reports that I Lupi will be on the hook for a €13.5m transfer fee if Zaragoza plays 50 percent of the possible minutes he is eligible to log in Italy and Roma qualify for either the Champions League or Europa League.

Corriere della Sera reports that Bayern have pocketed a €2m loan fee as part of the deal. This has nevertheless immediately been transferred to the La Liga outfit, who will receive a total of €3m for the inconvenience of terminating the loan early. Zaragoza has played almost every game this season for Celta, logging over 1,400 minutes in 26 appearances across all competitions.
