Blackburn Rovers 1-0 Preston North End at Ewood Park as Yuki Ohashi's header in the fifth minute of second half stoppage time lifted the hosts from 20th to 19th in the Championship.
Early on, Balazs Toth kept Blackburn level, saving from Lewis Norman Dobbin before also denying Alfie Devine prior to the interval.

After the restart, David Cornell thwarted Ohashi with a close-range header as Blackburn pressed. The substitute finally found the breakthrough when Eiran Cashin's cross picked him out for a decisive glance.
Five minutes of added time were indicated before the winner. Moussa Baradji later departed injured.
Blackburn tallied 13 attempts, with three on target. Preston registered only three attempts and held 55.1% possession.
