Nottingham Forest defender David Carmo could be on the move again this summer, with Olympiacos discussing a return for the 26-year-old, according to Gazzetta. The centre-back is said to be keen to go back.
Carmo has yet to make a competitive appearance for Forest after signing from Porto in August 2024. He has since had loans at Olympiacos and Real Oviedo. With Forest linked to more centre-backs, an opening at the City Ground appears unlikely.
He helped Olympiacos win the UEFA Conference League in May 2024 during his first loan from Porto. He returned the following season on loan from Forest, though he could not replicate that impact.
He remains well regarded in Piraeus and could be lined up to replace ex-Red Giulian Biancone, who is likely to depart. He is also said to have admirers in La Liga.
At Forest, Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic have established themselves as the first-choice pairing. Murillo has drawn attention elsewhere but recently signed new terms to 2030.
Jair Cunha showed promise in his first year, and academy graduate Zach Abbott impressed last season. Morato’s future is uncertain after a winter offer was rejected, and he could move on this summer. Willy Boly is almost certain to depart as he is out of contract, and a decision is needed on Tyler Bindon after his Sheffield United loan.
