Onana expected to give ‘green light’ to Man United exit | OneFootball

Andre Onana is expected to accept a loan move from Manchester United to Trabzonspor.

The Cameroon international is free to leave Manchester United after the deadline day arrival of Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.

Onana has failed to convince during his two seasons in the Premier League and endured a nightmare performance during the Carabao Cup exit to Grimsby Town last month.

United have accepted a loan offer from Trabzonspor, with the Turkish Süper Lig transfer window open until September 12th.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that negotiations between all parties are advancing quickly and that Onana is prepared to give the ‘green light’ to a move to Turkey.

Ruben Amorim has made clear that Onana is no longer the first-choice option and the 29-year-old is now ready to leave the club. Onana is due to represent Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations this winter and is keen to ensure a regular role ahead of that tournament.
