Today’s a day to pay tribute to the new all-time leading scorer in Club Deportivo Guadalajara history. With goal number 161, Alicia Cervantes didn’t just break a record—she cemented her place as one of the most impactful players to ever wear the red and white.

Since arriving at the club she loves, “Licha” has made it a habit to leave her mark on every opponent in front of her. She’s scored against every team in Liga MX Femenil and, interestingly enough, the only side she didn’t score on while playing for other clubs was Chivas itself.

This is more than just a stat—it’s a statement of dedication, consistency, and a competitive mindset. Alicia always shows up, especially when Chivas needs her most. Her skillset is as wide as her legacy: headers, long-range bangers, volleys, angled finishes, top-corner strikes, and even cheeky chips over the keeper. Cervantes doesn’t just score—she builds plays, pins center backs, attacks space, and reads the game perfectly.

So, in honor of this historic milestone, here’s a recap of Alicia Cervantes’ best goals against every team in the league.

Alicia Cervantes’ best goal vs every opponent

Chivas vs América / Goal #50In a moment that demanded leadership, “Licha” stepped up with this absolute banger in the first leg of the AP21 quarterfinals—clean first touch and a volley straight into the net.

Chivas vs Atlas / Goal #128Matchday 15 of AP24, and Cervantes danced past defenders before unleashing a rocket from the edge of the box that buried itself in the back of the net. Pure power and determination.

Chivas vs Cruz Azul / Goal #85On Matchday 14 of CL24, Alicia controlled the ball inside the box, created her own space, and fired a left-footed shot into the top corner.

Chivas vs Pumas / Goal #79Cervantes showed her class with a long-range strike through a pair of defenders, scoring the second of three goals she netted on Matchday 1 of CL23.

Chivas vs Tigres / Goal #160The goal that tied Omar Bravo’s record had to be special. “Licha” received the ball with her back to goal under pressure from two defenders, shook off a third, spun, and fired a cross-shot past the keeper. What a goal on Matchday 16 of CL26!

Chivas vs Rayadas / Goal #10Chivas stormed into the Estadio BBVA on Matchday 9 of AP20 and crushed Rayadas. Alicia shined after receiving a through ball from Norma Palafox, rounding the keeper with a self-pass before tapping it in.

Chivas vs Pachuca / Goal #150On Matchday 16 of AP25, the “Predator” stunned everyone with a strike from outside the box, smashing it into the top corner—unstoppable.

Chivas vs Toluca / Goal #48Final matchday of Apertura 2021: Cervantes won the ball in the attacking third, outran defenders, beat another inside the box, and slotted home a cross-shot that fooled the keeper. A goal that also pushed her toward the Golden Boot that season.

Chivas vs León / Goal #84An absolute gem of a goal from Alicia Cervantes came in Matchday 13 of CL23; she fooled her defender with a cheeky backheel and then ripped a powerful shot that beat the keeper’s spectacular dive; the ball smacked the base of the post and nestled into the net. What a banger!

Chivas vs Santos Laguna / Goal #115Her most dominant performance came on Matchday 7 of CL24, when she became the first—and only—player to score six goals in a single Liga MX Femenil match. Her third that day was pure art: a delicate chip over the keeper after a perfectly weighted diagonal pass from Araceli Torres.

Chivas vs Tijuana / Goal #127On Matchday 14 of AP24, Alicia met a driven cross from Gaby Valenzuela with her back to goal, casually controlled it, and then smashed it into the top corner with her left foot.

Chivas vs Querétaro / Goal #70Cool as ever in front of goal, Cervantes received the ball surrounded by three defenders, spun, and slotted a low shot into the corner. No chance for the keeper.

Chivas vs Atlético de San Luis / Goal #69Her goals always matter, and this one on Matchday 2 of AP22 earned Chivas three crucial points. A powerful, perfectly placed strike into the top corner from the left side—just another day at the office.

Chivas vs Mazatlán / Goal #124To avoid a shutout on Matchday 3 of AP24, Cervantes pounced on a loose ball at the edge of the box and fired it into the net with a quick reaction.

Chivas vs Necaxa / Goal #17A goal that shows off her clean striking technique. On Matchday 7 of CL21, “Licha” controlled the ball at the top of the box and blasted it home with her right foot to open the scoring.

Chivas vs Puebla #61A goal built on pure grit. On Matchday 12 of CL22, the opposing keeper was having a great game… until a corner kick found Alicia at the near post, where she powered in a header for the game-winner.

Chivas vs FC Juárez / Goal #36At Estadio Benito Juárez—where her scoring story with Chivas began—“Licha” showed her individual quality and composure. She controlled the ball in the box, shook off her marker, waited for the keeper to commit, and coolly finished to level the score against Bravas on Matchday 4 of AP21.
