Roman Yaremchuk broke the deadlock in the 19th minute with a close-range finish, setting Lyon up for a 3-2 victory over Auxerre. He later struck again to stretch the lead.
He had already set the tone, guiding in Abner's left-wing cross from very close range into the bottom corner (19.).
Yaremchuk then linked play smartly, teeing up Endrick whose effort struck the post (45.). After the restart he released Endrick again, drawing a low save from Théo De Percin (47.).
His second goal arrived from a classic penalty-area run, converting Corentin Tolisso's teasing cross with a measured finish (71.).
The Ukrainian finished with three attempts, two on target, two key passes and eight touches in the box, underlining how Les Gones' service from wide areas suited his movement.
Les Gones rise from fourth to third and host Rennes next. Auxerre sit 16th and welcome Angers.
