Oscar Bobb is set to join Fulham from Manchester City after the clubs agreed a deal for the Norway international winger.

According to Hounslow Herald, the £27m agreement includes a 20% sell-on clause for City and a right to match any future bids. Bobb is expected to undergo a medical on Thursday before signing to finalise the move to Craven Cottage.

The 22-year-old has chased regular first-team minutes. Borussia Dortmund held exploratory talks earlier this month over a possible loan, but Fulham have moved for a permanent transfer.

Bobb has made 15 appearances in all competitions for City this season, scoring one Premier League goal. He has been sidelined recently with a hamstring problem sustained in the 2-0 League Cup win over Brentford.

He broke into the first team in 2023-24, playing 26 times and standing out with a man-of-the-match display against Manchester United in the 2024 Community Shield.

A broken leg suffered in training that August stalled his progress, ruling him out for most of last season. Further setbacks limited him to 14 minutes of league action in 2024-25.

Back fit this term, he has featured in eight matches for Norway and helped them qualify for the World Cup for the first time in 27 years. He joined City’s academy in 2019 from Valerenga, having previously trained with Porto but unable to register at 15.

Fulham’s move signals an ambitious push to bolster their attack as they pursue European qualification.
