FC Blau-Weiß Linz/Kleinmünchen 0-2 FC Red Bull Salzburg Women (H/T:0-1). Goals: Illinger (9'), Krassnig (67')
Our team extended their ÖFB Women's Cup run, winning their third cup match of the season against FC Blau-Weiß Linz/Kleinmünchen in comfortable fashion and, like their predecessors FC Bergheim, reaching the semi-finals. Valentina Illinger and Tina Krassnig scored the goals to secure the victory.
Our team countered the Upper Austrians' energetic start with a clever corner kick. A short corner found Vina Crnoja, whose shot was met by Valentina Illinger on the edge of the six-yard box. The hard-running full-back headed the ball towards the far corner, and the celebrations for the early 1-0 lead followed immediately (9').
Although chances were fairly evenly distributed before the break, our team seemed to maintain control of the match throughout. While Krinzinger fired a free kick into the wall on the other side and goalkeeper Lara Ritter made a fine save against Niedermayr, Vina Crnoja tried her luck from every angle – her best chance, a curling shot just before halftime, was saved by goalkeeper Zangerl.

Pavlovic's side continued in this calm and composed manner after the restart. Our team remained unfazed by missed opportunities from Julia Grünwald and Greta Spinn, as well as by the fact that a strong penalty shout was turned down. Substitute Tina Krassnig – brilliantly set up by Aldina Hamzic – then delicately chipped the ball over Zangerl for a fine second goal. The decisive goal came in a minute that any youngster would enjoy (67').
The Royal Blues offered very little but the highlight of the remainder of the match was a substitution: Katja Wienerroither's ordeal was finally over, as the striker came on in stoppage time to make her debut for our team.
The win means we join FK Austria Vienna, SK Sturm Graz, and LASK in the ÖFB Women's Cup semi-finals – a historic milestone! Our opponents on 4 April or 5 April will be determined tonight, with the draw taking place on ORF 1's football programme starting at 21:50 CET.

It was a well-deserved victory, and a very dominant performance! We implemented everything we had planned and picked up right where we left off in the friendly matches. I'm very pleased with the intensity, the energy, and our determination – the girls really showed our identity, which is what matters most. Of course, we're delighted to be in the semi-finals!
