Ousmane Dembele has turned down an approach from Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal.
According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, the reigning Ballon d’Or winner informed Al-Hilal that he has no interest in leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Dembele is already under contract with PSG until 2028, but talks over an improved deal are now expected to progress after he made his intentions clear.
Al-Hilal had identified Dembele as one of their marquee targets as they looked to strengthen an already star-studded squad.
They were hoping to make another major statement in the transfer market by signing the Frenchman following the arrival of Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United.
The Riyadh-based club has also been credited with an interest in Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye as they continue their recruitment drive ahead of the new campaign.
However, Dembele is fully committed to PSG, where he has established himself as one of Europe’s most influential attackers.
The French winger enjoyed another exceptional season in 2025/26, finishing with 20 goals and 11 assists across 40 appearances in all competitions.
His performances were pivotal as Luis Enrique’s side defended their Champions League crown.
He went to the 2026 World Cup and continued to deliver the goods, bagging six goals and two assists in eight appearances for France.
After years of inconsistency and injury setbacks earlier in his career, Dembele has flourished with PSG.
His decision to reject Al-Hilal’s advances will come as a significant boost for PSG, who are eager to keep the core of their title-winning squad together.
They are looking to add Maghnes Akliouche to their ranks and expect to sign a striker following the departure of Goncalo Ramos.
