One outlet has come up with an idea to have to of Chelsea’s creative players playing in the same team together because at the moment, they aren’t.

Chelsea have two starting line-ups, and we will see one of them start tonight no doubt.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea pick main candidate for new full back transfer pursuit!

The Blues face Noah in the Europa Conference League at Stamford Bridge, and it is likely that head coach Enzo Maresca will select his second string starting Xl as apposed to his first choice starting Xl that are likely to then come in and start against Arsenal on Sunday evening.

They are fortunate to be able to do that and have the quality squad depth to be able to do it well. But what it also does is it sees a few player who would ideally like to be starting in the Premier League, not get a chance.

But one outlet has come up with a couple of ways to get Joao Felix and Cole Palmer both starting in the same starting Xl that might intrigue some Blues fans.

Palmer and Feliz in the same team

The two play in the same position

Dom Smith of The Evening Standard today writes:

‘One option is to hand Felix the No10 position, with Pedro Neto or Jadon Sancho on the left wing and ask Palmer to nominally play on the right but with licence to venture centrally and combine with Felix.

‘The question is whether Maresca would risk moving Palmer onto the peripheries.

‘Another alternative is that Felix could be moved to the left wing, with the left-back – possibly Reece James – asked to stay high and wide as Felix comes in-field and creates openings in close proximity to Palmer.’

Personally I don’t think we will see this. Felix will have to fight for the same role as Palmer, which ironically is also Christopher Nkunku’s best position!
