Palmeiras face Capivariano on Saturday 21 at Arena Barueri in their first knockout tie of the 2026 Campeonato Paulista. With the Allianz Parque pitch still under renovation, the club are seeking to lift attendances at the venue managed by one of president Leila Pereira’s companies.

According to Nosso Palestra, Palmeiras have played five home matches this year, all in Barueri, drawing 77,810 in total, an average of 15,562, with a season-high 23,842 against São Paulo. Those dates comprised four Paulista fixtures and one in the Brasileiro against Vitória.

Gate receipts have been mixed, and two dates, against Mirassol and Vitória, produced negative net revenue.

The expectation is a return to Allianz Parque in March, with a first home date pencilled in for 15 March against Mirassol in the Brasileiro. Progress in the state competition could see the homecoming brought forward.

A semi-final on the weekend of 28 February and one March is considered unlikely, but if they reach the final, scheduled for four or eight March, the pitch could be ready for Abel Ferreira’s side.
