Palmeiras likely to move Grêmio league match to Barueri as Allianz Parque hosts concert | OneFootball

Palmeiras are likely to return to Barueri for their early April meeting with Grêmio, even with Allianz Parque ready to host again after a spell at Arena Crefisa Barueri.

According to Nosso Palestra, the Campeonato Brasileiro fixture, scheduled between 1 and 2 April, should be played at Arena Barueri. Allianz Parque will stage the ninth Monsters of Rock on Saturday 4 April, and the two stages are expected to make a game there unworkable.

Palmeiras are unbeaten in 11 matches at Arena Crefisa Barueri, with 10 wins and one draw. They also put together six consecutive home victories there between 2025 and 2026, the club’s longest run at the venue, surpassing five straight recorded between 2012 and 2022.

The team will still face Botafogo on 18 March at the stadium, before switching back to Barueri as the designated hosts.

They are then due to return to Allianz Parque against Mirassol on Saturday the 15th at 18:30 Brasília time, in the sixth round of the Brasileiro, once installation of the new artificial surface is complete.
