Palmeiras review legal options after Fictor files for judicial recovery | OneFootball

Palmeiras are reviewing legal options over their contract with Fictor after the sponsor filed for judicial recovery on Monday amid turmoil linked to Banco Master.

The club said in a statement that it learned of the filing on Monday morning and that its legal department is analysing the case to take appropriate measures.

The partnership began in March 2025 on a three-year deal, renewable for one more season, worth R$ 30 million per year, with R$ 25 million fixed and R$ 5 million in bonuses.

Until early this year the club's second-biggest sponsor had made all deposits on time, though problems around the group have escalated recently.

Fictor became entangled in the Master saga in November when one of its partners led a group proposing to buy the bank. The process was suspended after the Central Bank announced the institution's extrajudicial liquidation.

Despite the controversy there have been no delays to Palmeiras, so the contract has remained in place.

Fictor's logo appears on the back of the men's and women's shirts and it is the academy's main sponsor. Betting companies cannot feature on non-professional kits, and Palmeiras have a deal with Sportingbet.

It is not yet clear whether the judicial recovery will affect the partnership.
