Palmeiras ‘to consider’ bid for Cebolinha as July pre-contract option opens | OneFootball

Cebolinha has told Flamengo he will not renew his contract, prompting interest across Brazil. Palmeiras are among those tracking the left winger ahead of the next window.

O Dia reports that Palmeiras are monitoring his situation and do not rule out making an offer in the next transfer window. He can sign a pre-contract with any club from July.

Cruzeiro, Grêmio, Corinthians and São Paulo have also shown interest. No club has submitted a proposal to Flamengo, so the player remains available to Jardim.

Seeking new challenges, Cebolinha said at the start of the season that he will leave Flamengo at the end of the year. These will be his final months at the club.

He is currently on holiday before reporting back to Flamengo. The club’s next match is on 22 July against Chapecoense in Chapecó, in the 19th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
