Paolo Vanoli gives Kean injury update, out for Rakow, monitored ‘day by day’ for Cremonese | OneFootball

Fiorentina coach Paolo Vanoli says Moise Kean is being assessed daily and has ruled him out of tomorrow’s Conference League Round of 16 first leg against Rakow.

“We are continuing with a recovery process and evaluating him day by day. The target is to have him in Cremona,” Vanoli said to TMW on Wednesday.

The striker has a fibula injury. Fiorentina visit Cremonese next in Serie A and the match is crucial, with the Tuscans only one point above the Grigiorossi in the relegation zone.

Gudmundsson is expected to be available tomorrow, although not yet at full sharpness. “Right now, he must regain full fitness after an ankle problem. He misses being decisive, but he still does important things.”
