Paquetá leaves pitch with foot pain, a doubt for Flamengo v Santos | OneFootball

Flamengo have a fresh injury concern ahead of the 10th-round meeting with Santos after Lucas Paquetá left the field with foot pain, putting his involvement at the Maracanã in doubt.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Paquetá started against Red Bull Bragantino but did not emerge for the second half because of the issue. He watched the remainder from the bench with an ice pack on his foot.

He will undergo a medical reassessment when the team return to training on Friday, with the squad due back at CT Ninho do Urubu.

While Paquetá is a concern, midfielder Erick Pulgar is a confirmed absentee for the Santos match after his red card against Bragantino. Saúl Ñíguez remains out as he continues stages of surgery on his left heel.

Defender Alex Sandro and forward Bruno Henrique have chances to feature, both in the final phase of recovery and awaiting the medical green light.

Flamengo meet Santos at 17:30 Brasília time on Sunday at the Maracanã.
