Paris FC took a big step towards safety with a 3-2 win over Le Havre, inspired by captain Pierre Lees-Melou and Ciro Immobile’s first Ligue 1 goal. According to L'Équipe, both were central to the result.
Lees-Melou supplied the penultimate pass for the opener on 29, then his volley was deflected in off Ayumu Seko for the second on 33. He later delivered the assist for the late third on 86. He also set the tempo when his side were down to ten.
Immobile opened his Paris FC account with a poacher’s finish from close range, his first goal in Europe since scoring for Lazio against Monza on 4 May 2024. He headed wide on 35 and struck the bar on 45+5, combining well throughout. He was substituted for Alimami Gory on 72.
Sofiane Boufal delivered his third assist since arriving, crossing for 2-1 on 61 before making way for Reda Khadra on 75. Felix Mambimbi’s first start since 24 January ended on 42 after a quiet display, with Yassine Kechta introduced. Young full-back Enzo Koffi was also withdrawn before the break for Timothée Pembélé.
Paris FC had to cope with Rudy Matondo’s red card on 55 for a strong tackle on Lucas Gourna-Douath. Le Havre reduced the deficit six minutes later, but the Paris club still saw the job through.
Moses Simon was lively down the left, troubling Loïc Nego, though his set pieces were inconsistent. He was replaced by Otavio on 84.
Issa Soumaré struggled to impose himself.
