Parma are hoping to keep hold of defender Giovanni Leoni this summer despite interest from Inter Milan, Juventus, and Atalanta.
This according to Parma-based newspaper Gazzetta di Parma, via FCInterNews.
Giovanni Leoni has already marked himself as a potential big transfer within Serie A this summer.
Still only eighteen years old, Leoni joined Parma from Sampdoria just last summer. However, he has made the step up to Serie A very well.
So much have Leoni’s performances impressed that, the Gazzetta di Parma report, his valuation has now risen beyond €20 million.

Despite the opportunity to make a big profit on Leoni this summer, the Gazzetta di Parma report that Parma do not want to sell the teenage defender right away.
The Gialloblu believe that the 18-year-old can continue to see his value increase if he stays. Moreover, keeping him would certainly be a boost to their efforts to stay in Serie A.
Therefore, the Gazzetta di Parma report, Parma want to keep Leoni.
That does not mean that there won’t be offers for the teenager, though. Far from it.
Inter Milan have marked Giovanni Leoni out as one of their top targets in defense after appointing ex-Parma coach Cristian Chivu.
Meanwhile, reports the Gazzetta di Parma, Juventus and Atalanta have also shown a strong interest.
