Paul Eymard, 18, will extend his AS Saint-Étienne contract on a long-term deal.
According to L'Équipe, relations were initially strained as the parties struggled to agree a first professional contract, which was finally made official in January.

The Ligue 2 club rejected transfer offers for the midfielder last season, underlining their wish to keep him.
Eymard believes in ASSE’s project and has been convinced by the club’s sporting and financial arguments.
A local and a long-time admirer of Saint-Étienne, he has chosen to continue his development with the club he loves. Financial terms were not disclosed.
