AS Monaco has named its squad for their upcoming Ligue 1 fixture away to Rennes this Saturday, and listed among the travelling players is none other than Paul Pogba. This marks his first official call-up since his last appearance on September 2, 2023.

Pogba's enforced hiatus stemmed from a failed doping test that initially carried a severe four-year ban. However, in a significant turn of events this past October, a court reduced the suspension to 18 months, paving the way for his return.

Having joined Monaco as a free agent this summer after his contract with Juventus ended, the path to his debut has been further complicated by injuries.
