Paulistão 2026 third round, Santos rise to eighth as Bragantino lead

According to Diario Do Peixe, the third round of Paulistão 2026 concluded on Sunday night. Santos drew 1-1 at Guarani in Campinas, climbing to eighth on four points.
Red Bull Bragantino lead on nine points, with Palmeiras also on nine in second place on tiebreakers. Novorizontino and Capivariano both have six, sitting third and fourth respectively.
Under the new format, all teams play eight matches in the first phase. The top eight progress to the quarter-finals, while the bottom two are relegated.
The quarter-finals will be single-leg ties, with first hosting eighth, second facing seventh, third meeting sixth, and fourth playing fifth.
Round three produced 23 goals, an average of 2.87 per game. There were four home wins, three draws and one away victory.
Results: Primavera 3-4 Novorizontino, Portuguesa 2-0 Velo Clube, Capivariano 2-0 Ponte Preta, Palmeiras 1-0 Mirassol. São Bernardo 1-1 Noroeste, Corinthians 1-1 São Paulo, Red Bull Bragantino 5-0 Botafogo, Guarani 1-1 Santos.
