Pavlović confident after his return to the pitch: 'We want to attack again next season'

Aleksandar Pavlović enjoyed a dream start to Bayern Munich's pre-season, scoring one of the goals in the club's emphatic 15-0 victory over Rottach-Egern.

After the match, the midfielder said he was feeling refreshed following his summer break and eager for the new campaign to begin.

"It was definitely a lot of fun to play this game. I'm well-rested after my holiday and I'm really looking forward to the season."

Pavlović also spoke about Bayern's mindset after last season, insisting the team is focused on learning from setbacks and competing for trophies once again.

"You have to take the positives from every setback. We want to attack again next season."

The 22-year-old also thanked Bayern's supporters after hearing his name chanted by young fans during the match.

"It's an incredible feeling when the young fans are shouting my name. I used to do exactly the same when I was younger. I always enjoy games like this because they give us the chance to connect with the fans."

Pavlović will be hoping to build on his strong finish to last season as he looks to establish himself as a key player in Vincent Kompany's midfield during the 2026/27 campaign.
