Pedro closes on Brazil’s top scorer after goal in Flamengo win over Estudiantes

Pedro struck to give Flamengo victory over Estudiantes of Argentina. It was his 18th goal of 2026, leaving him one shy of Brazil’s leading marksman, Alex Choco of Operário-MS on 19.

According to OGol, Alex Choco has 19 in 18 matches, while Pedro has 18 in 27, giving the Operário-MS forward the stronger average.
