Chelsea will welcome Brighton and Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge this Saturday afternoon as they look to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. The Blues managed to secure a 2-1 win over Lincoln City earlier this week, which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Enzo Maresca will set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to revert to his strong first team for this clash. Joao Pedro will lead the charge for the West London club up top.
Filip Jorgensen will feature in goal for the Blues after conceding one goal in his last outing. Trevoh Chalobah will play alongside Tosin Adarabioyo at the centre of the Chelsea backline as they try to keep the opposition at bay during the 90 minutes.
Reece James will try to prove his worth as the right-back, while Marc Cucurella looks to impress on the other side as the left-back. Maresca would ask both of them to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Jorrel Hato and Wesley Fofana will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Moises Caicedo and Andrey Santos will play as the holding midfielders for Chelsea as they try to make life tough for Brighton at the centre of the park.
The talented trio of Pedro Neto, Enzo Fernandez and Estavao could operate just ahead of them as part of Maresca’s attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Blues are to score enough goals to win this clash versus the Seagulls.
Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required. However, Cole Palmer will be sidelined for this game because of injury.
Joao Pedro will spearhead Chelsea’s attack up top. He got a well-deserved rest in midweek, so we can expect him to be fresh for this game on Saturday.
Shim Mheuka and Tyrique George will make up the numbers for the Blues on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if needed.
