According to Glorioso 1904, Pep Guardiola has confirmed Bernardo Silva will leave Manchester City at the end of the season.

Speaking after a heavy win over Liverpool, the City manager praised the former Benfica midfielder and admitted replacing him will be difficult.

Guardiola said City feel his absence whenever he does not play, and over a full campaign that impact is even clearer. He described the Portugal international as unique, citing his control of games, movement, touch and vision. He added that all good stories come to an end and hoped Silva enjoys his final months.

The coach indicated Silva’s next destination remains undecided.

Benfica is not in his immediate plans, and clubs such as Juventus and Barcelona have been linked from the major European leagues.
