Tau assists for Nam Dinh

South African attacker Percy Tau delivered a crucial assist as his club, Nam Dinh FC, hammered Eastern Sports Club 9-0 in the AFC Champions League Two.
Approaching the halftime break, the ex-Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns ace teed up Brazilian striker Brenner in the 42nd minute—having rattled the crossbar some 20 minutes earlier.
So far, Tau, whose contract runs until June 2026, has tallied two assists in 12 appearances across all competitions, but is still searching for his first goal.
With this emphatic victory, Tau's side now sits third in Group F, collecting nine points from six league matches.
The Thai champions are deadlocked on points and goal difference with second-placed Ratchaburi, who have scored more and conceded fewer than Nam Dinh.
Notably, both sides have taken points off each other in this campaign—Nam Dinh triumphed 3-1 at home in September, before suffering a 2-0 defeat away last month.
