Will Noel Asko stay at FC Bayern in the summer or will he leave again? As has now become known, the Munich club have sent a clear signal to the midfielder
According to information from Transfermarkt, the 20-year-old and Bayern coach Vincent Kompany recently had an intensive telephone conversation, focusing on the sporting prospects of the talented midfielder in Munich
For Aseko, who is on the radar of numerous clubs after his strong season at Hannover 96, this direct exchange is an important signal. Kompany is said to have expressly praised the development of the U21 international and is regarded internally as a great supporter of the youngster
Aseko has impressively recommended himself in recent weeks, particularly in the season finale of Bundesliga 2, where he impressed with strong performances, including being voted „Man of the Match“ against Elversberg and also showing his versatility in an unfamiliar position
It is precisely this flexibility that makes him interesting for Bayern, who are discussing internally whether Aseko could be an option not only in central midfield but also on the right flank in future – especially given that the future of Konrad Laimer has not yet been finalized
Nevertheless, the competition at the record champions is enormous. At present, Aseko would initially be planned in central midfield behind established players such as Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlovic. New signing Tom Bischof is also playing a role in the considerations

The question of the next step in his career is particularly exciting. Despite Hannover 96’s interest in another loan, Aseko is reportedly leaning towards not going down this route again. Instead, he wants to take the next step in his development – ideally at a level that guarantees him regular playing time
This is precisely the crux of the matter for FC Bayern: while Kompany has shown the talent a perspective, it remains to be seen whether this also includes sufficient playing minutes
The midfielder’s strong performances have seen his market value rise from under one million to around eight million euros over the course of the season and interest is correspondingly high: in addition to several Bundesliga clubs, clubs from England and Italy are also said to have put out feelers
FC Bayern is therefore facing a landmark decision: will they rely on their own young talent and integrate Aseko directly into the professional squad – or will they let him go to give him the necessary match practice at top level?
