A member of the attacking ranks at Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan on Monday made use of the opportunity to show his support for compatriot Kylian Mbappé.

The Nerazzurri star in question? Marcus Thuram.

Striker Thuram’s Inter marked their return to action yesterday evening, opening the club’s 2025/26 Serie A campaign in a meeting with Torino.

The aforementioned Thuram, meanwhile, was on target to the tune of a brace.

And it was in the aftermath of one of his two goals that the Frenchman recreated the new celebration being made use of by Real Madrid counterpart Kylian Mbappé.

The latter has responded to his three goals in two appearances this season by making a ‘wiping away tears’ gesture.
