Corinthians defeated Gotham FC and secured a spot in the grand final of the FIFA Champions Cup. After the celebrations, coach Lucas Piccinato spoke about the feeling of achieving this goal and praised the presence of the Fiel Torcida, who attended the Gtech Community Stadium in London to support the Brabas until the final whistle.

“Well, first, a wonderful feeling, the feeling of a game plan well executed by them, a very tough game, a team that plays very fast, with very high intensity, but we knew we would have our chances, and we had some in the first half, fewer in the second half, very happy that we, as a group, understood the magnitude of the game and placed Corinthians in a world championship final. We want much more, we will work hard, we know the size of the challenge, regardless of who comes from the other side. Maybe we won't be favorites again, once more, but we will be very strong in this final,” the coach began to Cazé TV.

“The Corinthians fans are very different. The star of the game was Gabi Zanotti, captain, number 10, and current Queen of America, who scored the only goal in the black-and-white victory over the Americans. She spoke about the moment and praised the collective performance of Corinthians, which withstood the opponent's pressure.

The grand final is scheduled for Sunday (1st), at the Arsenal Stadium, starting at 3 PM (Brasília time). Corinthians still does not know their opponent, which will be determined from the match between Arsenal and ASFAR, taking place this Wednesday at 3 PM.
