Italian side Pisa have indicated they will not make Lorran’s move permanent at the end of his loan, according to Coluna Do Fla.
Lorran joined Pisa on loan midway through last season and struggled to make an impact in Europe. Flamengo received 500,000 euros, around R$ 3 million, for the temporary switch.
The deal included triggers for an automatic purchase that were not met. These covered a minimum number of appearances for Lorran and the team’s place in Italy’s top division, so the club have opted against keeping the Flamengo academy product.
Pisa retain his registration until the loan expires in June. Lorran is then due to return to Flamengo, where he is under contract until December 2029.
The initial expectation is that Flamengo are likely to explore another loan for the player. Meanwhile, Flamengo face Independiente Medellín on Thursday 16 in the Libertadores group stage, with kick-off at 21:30 Brasília time at the Maracanã.
