Here are our player ratings for Lazio, who didn’t produce their best outing, but did just enough to earn a point with a 1-1 draw against Parma.

Lazio XI (4-3-3)

Edoardo Motta – 6.5

The young custodian could do little about the opener, but produced an astonishing save to deny Emmannuele Valeri’s powerful shot, which kept Lazio in the game.

Adam Marusic – 5

The Montenegrin’s attacking contribution was non-existent, and he also struggled to cope with Valeri’s runs.

Alessio Romagnoli – 6

The experienced defender wasn’t able to block Del Prato’s shot, but held his own against the physically imposing Mateo Pellegrino.

Oliver Provstgaard – 6

A decent outing from the Danish defender who helped Romagnoli deal with Pellegrino, but the Aquile still missed Mario Gila’s distribution.

Nuno Tavares – 6

The Portuguese full-back’s crossing and set-piece delivery left much to be desired, but showcased his improving defensive abilities once more, as he kept Sascha Britschgi at bay.

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru – 5

The Nigerian covered so much space, but he isn’t offering the required quality in any phase. Squandered two promising Lazio attacks in added time, first with a poor pass to Cancellieri, and then a shot to Row Z.

Danilo Cataldi – 6.5

A solid display from Lazio’s stand-in captain on his return from injury. Ran more than any other player on the pitch, won back possession on several occasions, and launched a few attacking plays.

Kenneth Taylor – 6.5

Although it was a step back from his heroics in Bologna, the Dutch midfielder still made himself useful in both phases and provided the assist for Noslin’s equalizer.

Gustav Isaksen – 5.5

The Danish winger tried to make things happen in the first half, but found little joy against Lautaro Valenti. He was also late to Valeri’s run, which almost resulted in a second goal for Parma.

Daniel Maldini – 5

Perhaps it’s past time for Sarri to admit that the Atalanta loanee simply isn’t meant to lead the line after being bullied by the defenders once more.

Pedro – 5,5

The Spanish veteran had his moments, but he wasn’t able to impact the action.

Substitutes

Manuel Lazzari – 6.5

The Italian set the right flank ablaze following his introduction. Many Lazio fans will vouch for him to start ahead of Marusic moving forward.

Matteo Cancellieri – 5.5

The former Verona man replaced Isaksen, but wasn’t necessarily an upgrade on his teammate.

Tijjani Noslin – 6.5

The Dutch attacker was much more dynamic than Pedro on the left, and his efforts were rewarded with a deflected goal.

Boulaye Dia – 6

The Senegalese striker didn’t get a sniff inside the box, but dropped back to help bring the ball forward, and at least he found success on that front.
